A multitasking cast-iron stand from the German brand Petromax. Makes the experience of cooking over fire more varied and convenient.
Has at least 4 ways to use it*
- A platform for baking, steaming and roasting – placed on the bottom of a Petromax Dutch Oven kazan-roaster of the matching size.
- A grill grate for cooking over embers – placed directly on the coals.
- A grill grate for cooking over a fire – placed on Petromax portable stoves or in place of the burner plate on the Petromax Loki 2 stove.
- A platform for campfire cookware – placed directly on the coals.
Features of the Petromax Cast-Iron Trivet
- Stands on small ball-shaped feet. Raises food above the fire or the bottom of a cast-iron roaster to get an ideal crust and smoky aroma.
- The openwork surface gives dishes cooked directly on the grate characteristic golden stripes.
- The product is made entirely of cast iron, which ensures even, intense heat transfer to the food or the bottom of the vessel.
- Cast iron develops natural non-stick properties with use: the more you cook on it, the stronger the protective coating becomes. The product is seasoned at the factory, so it is ready to use right away.
- The grate is convenient for serving at the table – serve grilled food right on it or place it under hot cookware.
* In fact there are more ways to use it. Petromax products complement one another, forming many functional sets: as many as your imagination and love of fire cooking allow.

The brand's history began in 1910, when Berlin inventor Max Graetz designed and put into production a high-pressure kerosene lamp known as the Petromax HK500. Since then two world wars and quite a few revolutions have passed. The company has changed: Petromax became experts in camping and grill equipment, creating a comprehensive collection of cookware, portable stoves and accessories. The range has expanded, but the brand has not betrayed its principle of creating modern classics.
Petromax gives a new, progressive voice to traditions that have prevailed in European kitchens for centuries. Energy-efficient wood stoves give freedom from fossil fuels. Cast-iron cookware serves for generations and is therefore eco-friendly. Every tool is multifunctional, which helps avoid overconsumption.
Petromax speaks of hedonism the German way. When pleasure comes not only from nature and tasty food but also from the equipment – professionally engineered and flawlessly made. There is nothing superfluous in the brand's range. The products complement and improve one another, making cooking over fire a safe, convenient and varied experience.
